We recruit in small cohorts on a rolling basis. No prior trading experience required.
Who should apply
Coders and serious analysts. What matters is that you can code, take analysis seriously, and will show up to build.
How it works
Apply → review → short conversation → join the next cohort.
What we expect
Consistent participation in your pod, honest backtesting, and engagement with the society.
How much time does MQR require?
Several hours per week for research and pod meetings. Competition weeks can require more.
Do I need trading experience?
No. Strong programming and statistical thinking matter more.
Maastricht University students only?
Primarily, yes. Reach out if you are at a nearby institution.
Is any real money involved?
No. All trading is simulated on paper accounts.
